About the role
- This position will require excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a focus on operational excellence and process optimization.
- Be the receiving unit for technology transfer from Moderna's Process Development teams, focusing on Formulations sciences, including drug formulation/delivery development
- Assist other development scientists / engineers in defining process development and scale-up strategy, and implementing process control strategies
Responsibilities
- The Pilot Scale Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated full-time Engineer I to support Formulations (Lipid Nanoparticle and Drug Product) pilot-scale production.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot custom equipment used to manufacture Formulations batches
- Demonstrate and implement lab best practices
Requirements
- BS/BA (required) or MS in Chemistry, Systems, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering, or closely related field with 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to multi-task in relentless pursuit of successful outcomes
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with fermentation, enzymatic reaction, chromatography and/or tangential flow filtration experience is preferred
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $63,200.00 - $100,900.00.
