About the role

The vehicles are type C built over a Freightliner chassis, type D with front and rear engine variants built over Thomas chassis, and type A minibuses built over Ford and General Motors chassis.

Apply engineering techniques and principles to design and develop school bus interior/exterior body components.
Apply CAD principles to develop 3D models, installations drawings and Bills of Materials.
Promptly resolve product build issues.
Interface with Test & Compliance personnel to prototype new systems, perform development testing and apply test results to new designs.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering OR an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of related experience OR 6+ years of design engineering experience required
Experience with 3D CAD design required (Creo preferred)
