About the role

  • The ideal candidate will have a track record in both academic and public-facing publications, as well as research experience in one of the following policy areas: health, criminal justice, public and higher education, or energy.
  • Candidate should hold a PhD in a field such as Political Science, Public Policy, Criminology, Economics, Latino Studies, Sociology, Education, Public Health, Social Work, or Communication.
  • Salary Range $75,000 Working Conditions Fellow will share an office with other fellows.

Benefits

  • The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
  • This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. ----
