About the role
- The Pellet Package Operator is an hourly / non-exempt entry-level role responsible for supporting the production and processing of food and dietary ingredients in a manufacturing plant.
- This position involves assisting with the operation and maintenance of production equipment, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and goals.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in food and dietary ingredient manufacturing.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
