Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing content discovery improvements, UX enhancements, platform capabilities, and delivery timelines to ensure the team always works on the highest-engagement-impact features.
- Translate viewer behavior data, content team inputs, and design insights into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a healthy backlog with minimal carryover.
- Serve as the primary product interface for Content and Design -translating their goals into buildable product requirements and keeping them informed of progress, tradeoffs, and delivery timelines.
- Work closely with newsrooms and content teams to surface live programming, breaking news, and local community content in ways that drive meaningful viewer engagement.
- Design and interpret A/B tests on navigation patterns, content surfaces, and discovery features.
Requirements
- You are user-obsessed.
- Deep understanding of CTV and streaming viewer behavior - how audiences discover, browse, and consume video content - and the ability to translate those patterns into product requirements.
- Experience working with live streaming and real-time content surfaces - breaking news, live events, and time-sensitive programming - and the product considerations unique to live versus on-demand viewing.
- Comfort working directly with newsrooms and editorial content teams to understand programming priorities and translate them into product features that surface the right content to the right viewer at the right moment.
Skills
- MS 365 Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Deep knowledge and proficiency with the following:
- Atlassian products: Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence
- UX/UI tools: Figma
- Analytics: Amplitude or equivalent
- Experimentation: LaunchDarkly or equivalent

Compensation
- $110,000 - $140,000 USD
