About the role
- You'll be heavily involved in the product development process and given the opportunity to give creative input into many phases of the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain horizontally scalable backend systems using TypeScript and Go to support millions of concurrent users.
- Develop GraphQL and REST APIs powering our iOS, Android, and web clients.
- Lead features through the full lifecycle - from ideation and design to implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product, design, and client engineers to translate product requirements into scalable and performant backend solutions.
- Strong grasp of system design principles and a practical approach to scaling products that serve millions of users.
- Opportunity to shape the roadmap, engineers work closely with product and design throughout the entire product development process
- Drive architecture decisions, have a wide impact on how BFF is built

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Go.
- Deep knowledge of testing best practices and frameworks.
- Experience owning features end-to-end, from conception, through development, to production.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
