About the role
- Celtic Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated SBA Loan Closer/Processor to join our growing team.
- As an SBA Loan Closer/Processor, you'll play a key role in ensuring SBA loan transactions are accurately prepared, documented, and closed in compliance with SBA regulations and bank policies.
- You'll receive comprehensive, hands-on training while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your success.

- Ensure loan file accuracy including all packaging documents, satisfaction of credit conditions and compliance with SBA lending requirements.
- Review closing documents for accuracy and compare the documents to commitment and loan summaries Identify missing documents or discrepancies in closing packages and ensure timely satisfaction of requirements.
- Clear conditions of loan commitments, clear loans for closing and document approved exceptions.
- Maintain superior level of customer service with customers, bank employees and department members.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of all regulations related to closing procedures.
- Ability to collaborate, influence and motivate.
Requirements
- Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to handle multiple files or projects at one time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet and related computer skills.

Nice to have
- TO DO IT 1-5 years' worth of experience in SBA financing preferred.
- 504 closing experience preferred.
- Commercial loan closing experience preferred.
- Current knowledge of banking regulations preferred.
