About the role
- This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations.
- The Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for project scope, schedule, budget, and execution from project kickoff through final customer acceptance.
- This role works closely with internal engineering, procurement, controls, commissioning, and construction teams, while coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex material handling and warehouse automation projects with budgets up to $40 million.
- Own overall project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring critical milestones are achieved.
- Identify project risks, drive mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that could impact project objectives.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead installation planning and execution activities, resolving mechanical, operational, and site-related challenges.
- Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, change management, cost control, and budget adherence.
- Support talent development by mentoring project team members and contributing to the growth of the Operations organization.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to drive efficient project execution and continuous improvement.
- Make timely operational and tactical decisions to maintain project momentum and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in material handling, warehouse automation, industrial construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and customer relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Experience leading distribution center, warehouse automation, or material handling system implementations.
- Experience managing projects valued up to $40 million.
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, conveyors, sortation, robotics, ASRS, or related technologies.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in an EPC, systems integration, or industrial project environment.
- Employees may be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor.
- Monitor project progress, analyze schedule performance, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Travel and work on-site as required, with approximately 50% of time spent at customer project locations.
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.
- Willingness to travel and maintain an on-site presence during installation and commissioning phases.

Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is $ 87,600 to $ 131,300.
