About the role

  • Once engineering is completed, you will travel to customer sites worldwide to commission the conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

  • As a Controls Project Engineer, you will design and program PLC controls for our material handling systems from our office in Veghel.
  • During the engineering phase, you collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary project team to deliver the Functional Specification.
  • After this phase, you take ownership of the detailed design, programming, and testing of the PLC software.
  • Support customer acceptance testing

Requirements

  • You work on a project basis, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Nice to have

  • Integrate PLC software into the overall control system
  • Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or Controls Technology
  • Proactive, hands-on, and pragmatic mindset
  • Experience with PLC applications (TIA Portal)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%)
  • Strong command of English
  • Dutch is preferred

Compensation

  • This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.500,00 up to €5.500,00 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance) with a comprehensive travel allowance on top.
