About the role

  • PROFILE As with all employees at Mentoring Alliance (MA), the Event Specialist (ES) is considered to be a minister of the gospel.
  • This person flourishes in a biblically grounded, grace-based, Christ-centered, excellence-driven, and multiethnic environment.
  • Other Duties as assigned by the Manager of Events or Vice President: Any other duties to serve the ministry as assigned by the Vice President or supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • The ES is a Christ-follower who sets an example for believers and nonbelievers and leads a life that is above reproach.
  • MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Event Specialist is to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of multi- regional events while serving as a liaison between the Events Department and regional teams.
  • Provides administrative support and project coordination for the Events Manager while serving as a primary point of contact for the department with professionalism, organization, and a servant-hearted approach.

Requirements

  • approximately 10-15% travel each year as needed Valid driver's license and insurance required.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, and/or Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite required Some knowledge of expense tracking and managing is required Knowledge of running event production for events preferred

Compensation

  • $10k-$15k
