About the role

The Tech Superintendent 1 position requires not only broad field experience and knowledge, but many leadership and administrative skills and abilities.

Leads teams up to 10 team members and works hands on to install, repair, terminate, certify and troubleshoot devices and cabling of low voltage systems
Responsible for working with Tech Project Manager to establish and follow a budget, manage labor hours, committed costs and material costs
Maintains task and punch lists for projects and oversees their completion
Maintains Drawings and labeling of drawings for use of close out documents
Maintains and plans inventory and materials for use on next day tasks, as well as weekly and two-week lookaheads; Responsible for auditing material for weekly and monthly look-ahead work
Collaborate with Tech Project Manager to evaluate with field personnel working under their supervision, as needed
Work independently with minimal instruction or supervision to build out of MDF, IDF, Enclosures, Ladder Tray, Basket, and install 2-4 post racks

They typically report to a Technologies Project Manager and at times Regional, Divisional, and Department leaders.
