- The Associate Practice Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of the firm's legal practice.
- This position guides associates through strategic case management, provides structured oversight, and fosters continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Working directly under the Managing [Attorney or Partner], the Associate Practice Manager drives operational excellence and ensures that all legal work aligns with firm strategy, client expectations, and professional standards of ethics and practice.
Requirements
- While most responsibilities can be performed remotely, the role requires the ability to work from the office or appear in person as business needs arise.
- 5 or more years of experience practicing family law.
Skills
- Ability to be a proactive self-starter who understands the details within a much larger context.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability, and ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Excellent client service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to handle routine or emergent issues.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk while typing, using a mouse, and looking at a computer screen.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend over, and lift items from the ground exceeding 10lbs to a height from between one's waist to eye level.
