About the role
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the software development teams, including setting clear goals, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing a collaborative and motivating work environment.

Responsibilities
- This is a technical role and requires the individual to understand data and software architecture, design, and testing principles, and be able to apply them to ensure the delivery of software products of the highest quality and standards.
- Work with stakeholders to mentor the team to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful delivery of software projects.
- Ensure the team follows best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, and quality assurance processes. Set and maintain high standards for software quality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in software development projects. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of unforeseen issues on project timelines and deliverables.
- Implement changes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Provide direction and leadership to staff; guide, coach, mentor and develop staff ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain staff by applying the necessary training and leadership that will allow internal growth and advancement
Requirements
- Seven (7) years experience in a software development role or developer subject matter expert role.
- Three (3) years of Resource Management required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems Business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Five (5) years in a senior or subject matter expect position.

- Pay Equity
- $117,000.00 - $152,100.00 Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
