About the role
- Guide, mentor, and elevate mid-level and junior engineers while optimizing team processes and modernizing engineering solutions
- Independently tackle complex engineering tasks, leveraging AI-first coding tools (like Claude Code) and profiling UI, memory, and threading to ensure a flawless user experience
- 6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of dedicated Android development, backed by a B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will develop the primary, member-facing application embedded on every Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row.
- Build highly engaging, responsive, and scalable customer-facing features from concept to deployment
Nice to have
- Experience with continuous build integration in an Agile environment, active GitHub projects, or open-source contributions is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of Kotlin, Java, Android threading, and modern architecture patterns like MVVM and MVI.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks like Espresso is a major plus

- $173,478 - $213,957 USD
