Responsibilities

  • Support residents in achieving their highest level of independence and functioning.
  • Encourage resident participation in self-care tasks while providing support and cues as needed.
  • Take and record vital signs, monitor intake/output, and document care accurately.
  • Provide meal assistance including menu selection, feeding support, and post-meal care.
  • Maintain resident rooms by changing linens, making beds, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Support social engagement by encouraging interaction during meals, activities, and daily care routines.
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote each resident's comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
  • Provide daily support, personal care, and companionship to help residents live with dignity and comfort.
  • We're looking for a Direct Care Aide who is dedicated to providing hands-on support that helps our residents feel comfortable, respected, and valued.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing as applicable to their job responsibilities
