Responsibilities
- Support controls calibration and tuning activities for steering response, stability, and operator feel
- Participate in requirements definition, DFMEA activities, and design reviews
- Support machine‑level testing, data collection, and analysis in lab and field environments
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and production issue resolution
- Collaborate with controls, hydraulics, software, electrical, mechanical, and supplier teams
- Document application settings, test results, and lessons learned
- ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications; ability to develop embedded systems with varying levels of complexity to control the operations of the machine it is embedded within.
- Product Development in Manufacturing: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques of product development; ability to design, build and manage manufacturing of new products.

Compensation
- $112,710.00 - $169,060.00
- Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
