About the role
- As a key member of the team supporting RELLIS, this position will also assist with event and fair coverage throughout Central and Southeast Texas.
- Salary information: The exp[ected salary for this position is $43,888.00- $46,000.00 annually.
- SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL: This position generally does not supervise employees.
Responsibilities
- Spends significant time engaging prospective students in discussion about their future with the goal of setting an enrollment plan; Maintain database of recruitment and outreach efforts and monitor for effectiveness.
- Creates and distributes resource materials for student recruitment; analyzes trends in recruitment; develops strategies for recruitment evaluation.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of programs, university student services, and peer institutions' offerings.
- Works directly with applicants and their families to submit all missing documents to ensure successful enrollment to TAMUT.
- Works with the Associate Director of Recruitment to develop an effective recruitment plan for students to include prerequisite needs, admission requirements, program offerings, student interests, and career goals.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to implement effective recruitment strategies.

Requirements
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Knowledge of recruitment and marketing

- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of related experience.
- Knowledge of admissions functions of higher education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience/knowledge advising/guiding/mentoring individuals age 15-50
- Sales-, event planning-, and/or marketing-related experience
- Ability to collect, write, and report various types of data sets.
- Ability to connect to prospective online students.
- Proven ability to achieve goals, influence others, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel and work beyond normal office hours.
- Ability to work at a minimum of 1 day a month on the Texas A&M University System RELLIS Campus at 1425 Bryan Rd, Bryan, TX 77807, and throughout Central and Southeast Texas as needed.
Compensation
- The exp[ected salary for this position is $43,888.00- $46,000.00 annually.
