- The Intensive Care Unit RN provides comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
- Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
Nice to have
- ICU experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certificates:
- Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS required.
- If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.

- The ICU RN is responsible for continuous assessment, medication administration, advanced monitoring, patient advocacy, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Titrate vasoactive drips, sedatives, analgesics, insulin, and other critical care medications per protocol.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and unit-based committees.
