This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the development and testing of UAS software and hardware systems tailored for government use.

Program Management: Manage and oversee requirements, schedules, budgets, requirements, hardware, and software deliverables across the full lifecycle of UAS development projects, from initial concept through testing and production.
Develop CONOPS and Systems: Collaborate with teams to develop detailed CONOPS, vehicle designs, avionics systems, and mission planning software.
Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Manage and oversee requirements, schedules, budgets, requirements, hardware, and software deliverables across the full lifecycle of UAS development projects, from initial concept through testing and production.
Collaborate with teams to develop detailed CONOPS, vehicle designs, avionics systems, and mission planning software.
Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and software
3+ years of experience in software project management, preferably within the defense industry or related technology fields.

Education: BS or MS in engineering, management, manufacturing or other relevant field.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and related technologies.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross- functional teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Defense Industry Experience: Experience in the defense sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Pay Range by Level:
Level II - $100k - $122k
Level III - $122k - $156k
Pay range for this role
$100,000 - $156,000 USD
