Responsibilities

- Partner with internal teams-including marketing, brand, product, and design-to align campaign messaging with broader business and customer goals.
- Maintain brand consistency in all copy, while reflecting cultural tonal nuance across fashion, motors, collectibles and eBay Live audiences.
- Proven ability to develop and evolve editorial direction that supports both brand consistency and market relevance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- A diverse body of work demonstrating your ability to write in various brand voices across digital assets (banners, social, video scripts, and presentations).
Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills, coupled with skill in assessing tone, clarity, and efficiency in agency-produced content.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills; comfortable handling several campaigns at once

Compensation
- Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
- $86,800 - $150,100
- The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
- If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

- The eBay Brand Creative team is looking for a Copy Manager to lead and execute U.S. campaigns across our core enthusiast categories: eBay Live, Collectibles, Fashion, and Motors.
- In this role, you will develop editorial strategy and write copy across all channels, including onsite, email, social, video, and events.
- You are both a leader and a maker-equally comfortable writing authentic, high-quality copy and editing the work of developing writers and third-party agencies.
- You will collaborate closely with marketing, brand, and strategy teams to ensure all messaging aligns with eBay's brand voice and resonates deeply with our most passionate shoppers!
