Responsibilities
- Tasks require manual dexterity of hands and body to operate office equipment and manage frequent interruptions, time pressures, high work volumes, and multiple, complicated, and unscheduled tasks
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
Compensation
- Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
- This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.
- We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and solutions-driven individual to join our team to support the preparation of and through the duration of the Open Enrollment period.

Benefits
- This is a temporary Benefits Specialist position expected to last approximately six months, beginning on or around August 3, 2026, and ending on or around January 29, 2027.
- As the Benefits Specialist, you will respond to employees, dependents, and providers' questions regarding benefit programs, eligibility, and coverage provisions.
- Enrollment in the Arizona State Retirement System, a defined retirement benefit requiring a 12% per paycheck contribution rate that includes a 100% employer match on Day 1
- Two years of experience working in benefits administration for a self-funded, employer-sponsored group health plan or related field
- Experience with self-funded health and welfare benefits
- Documented HIPAA training and experience handling confidential material in a healthcare or employment environment

- Two years of experience in customer service
- High school diploma or GED
