About the role
- Summary Job Description: Medical ICU Unit Description: 2A ICU is a 21-bed medical/surgical ICU serving high acuity medical ICU patients.
- The unit population is cardiac interventions, SARS, Cardiogenic shock, Rotoprone, Post-partum critical care patients and complex care ICU patients most of which have a medical or cardiac diagnosis.

Responsibilities
- Basic life support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don't have it already.
- Employee Support Fund, for employees in need of emergency financial support
Requirements
- Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
- Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
- ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
