About the role

Solid Power, Inc. is seeking a Senior Capital Projects Engineer (Equipment) to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next-generation materials for all solid-state rechargeable batteries.
This position will be a key member of the Product & Operations team for the transition of Solid Power's current electrolyte production technology to mass production.

The Capital Projects Engineer will be responsible for the acceptance testing, commissioning, startup, and support maintaining operation of new and existing powder production equipment.
This individual will develop preventative maintenance protocols/turnover plans, spare parts requirements, and assist with the specification and install of new production equipment.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of industry experience in the materials production environment.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including, but not limited to eye protection, hair net, gloves, face mask, coveralls, full-face respirator or PAPR.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Solid Works, electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings is a plus.

$104,000 - $156,000/year
