About the role
- The Maintenance Planning Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the execution of maintenance activities to promote safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

- Reviews maintenance work requests and assists with converting approved requests into planned work orders, including labor, parts, tools, safety needs, and estimated timing, etc.
- Communicates maintenance priorities, schedule changes, equipment availability, parts delays, and resource needs to appropriate leaders and stakeholders.
- Assists with tracking work order backlog, PM completion, schedule compliance, downtime trends, and other maintenance performance measures.
- Participates in root cause, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
- Related experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a similar role preferred
- Experience using a CMMS, maintenance work order system, or similar tracking system preferred.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment reliability, parts coordination, and work order processes preferred.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, follow-up, and communication skills with the ability to adjust plans based on business needs.
