Responsibilities

  • Partners with leaders in their assigned Line of Business, Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) Consultants, and other RCA Managers to, depending on the function, oversee the successful creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective risk management framework.
  • Support strategic priorities to identify impacts to risk management frameworks and operational outcomes and design mitigations and controls prior to go live.
  • Lead projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
  • This position will support Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) and Capital Risk Management teams focusing on risk identification in processes performing capital adequacy, regulatory capital requirements and capital planning activities.
  • The role will be the initial point of escalation for existing and emerging risks, provide guidance and engage other risk management teams as needed to manage the risk and control inventory, risk artifacts, and reporting to reflect changes to the business line and support strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business, specifically Dodd Frank Reg Q and Reg YY.
  • Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.

Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.
  • Exercising leadership without organizational hierarchy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and tailoring of communications for multiple levels of management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
  • Applicable professional certifications.

Compensation

  • $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
