About the role

- As a Senior Developer II, you will operate as a technical leader, mentoring junior engineers, resolving sophisticated issues, improving system performance, and upholding rigorous engineering and documentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop secure enterprise applications supporting investigative workflows.
- Implement audit logging, privileged‑access controls, and other federal security requirements.
- Lead development activities and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Diagnose complex issues and optimize system performance.
- Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and code‑quality standards.
- Support cloud deployments and DevSecOps pipelines.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of enterprise‑software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and secure‑coding methodologies.
- Experience with government environments requiring audit compliance, CJIS standards, or privileged access controls.
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud services and FedRAMP‑aligned platforms.
- DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability is required to begin support.
Nice to have
- Security+ or equivalent baseline certification.
- AWS or Azure professional certifications.
- Agile/Scrum certifications.
- Experience with containers, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Active DHS EOD suitability
- Active DHS Secret or above clearance
- Life and AD&D Insurance

Skills
- Work is mostly remote, with occasional visits to customer and/or corporate locations in DC/Northern Virginia.
