Responsibilities

  • Acting as a primary troubleshooting resource for the Commissioning Engineering and Field Commissioning teams, providing expert level support on common electrical, protection, and SCADA/communications issues surfaced during commissioning and early operations.
  • Support continuous improvement of networking equipment, products, and quality assurance processes by conducting research, contributing to commissioning best-practices documentation, and actively sharing experience and best practices.

Requirements

Nice to have

  • At least 7 years of experience designing and commissioning electrical power systems, or network design.
  • At least 4 years of experience in renewables such as Solar, Wind, and Storage,
  • Knowledge of inverter parameter setting procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience with technical communications protocols (Modbus/TCP, DNP3.0, etc.), commonly used controls software/hardware platforms, and communication standards (MESA, Sunspec, etc.).
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with various relays, meters, SCADA Gateways, and Data Concentrators, experience with programming of RTACs, preferred.
  • Expertise in commissioning and resolving site technical issues, proven success in independently troubleshooting challenging SCADA related technical issues.

Compensation

  • $140k-$155k
