About the role

  • IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team.
  • The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct.
  • This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC, office.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL's value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
  • Ensure the timely processing of international leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
  • Manage your sales pipeline, identify growth opportunities and communicate clearly the progress of campaigns to the sales teams to ensure goal attainment

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably within the EdTech or software industry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to accommodate various global time zones

Nice to have

  • Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Experience in the classroom or as a school or district administrator is a plus
