About the role
- The Senior Tax Specialist serves as the organization's subject matter expert in international tax.
Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for a wide range of international tax functions, including compliance, reporting, audit support, balance sheet reconciliation, research, process improvements, and providing financial insights.
- Maintain organized and accurate tax records and documentation.
- Partner with the Contracts Department to review international tax terms on new contracts.
- Collaborate with the CAE Inc. International Tax Team.
- Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of tax accounting experience with international tax knowledge.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, Adaptive, and Hyperion (HFM)
- CPA or CMA certification or Advanced Degree.
- Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance

- Identify and pursue all applicable tax credits related to our International activities.

Skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
