GTI Values: Safey I Quality I Customer Obsession I Speed I Agility GTI is seeking a proactive and hands-on Safety Specialist to support daily Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) operations within our manufacturing facilities. This

Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors while partnering with leadership to implement effective corrective actions.

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational safety standards.
Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
Strong understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence employees at all levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Deliver ongoing safety training including hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout (LOTO), forklift safety, confined space awareness, hot work, ergonomics, fall protection, and other required programs.

OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume or engineered-to-order manufacturing environments.
Experience with fabrication, welding, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or industrial manufacturing operations.
Experience supporting workers' compensation and Return-to-Work programs.
Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
Knowledge of lithium-ion battery manufacturing, energy storage systems (BESS), modular data centers, or electrical equipment manufacturing.
First Aid, CPR, AED, or Emergency Response certifications are a plus, but not required.
