About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Backend Developer to join our team.

Design and develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and databases using PHP and MySQL
Optimize database schemas and queries for performance; identify and resolve bottlenecks in high-traffic systems
Develop unit tests, debug issues, and troubleshoot in production and development environments
Implement security best practices and secure coding standards
Participate in code reviews, maintain version control (Git) and comprehensive technical documentation

You will work collaboratively with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions.

5+ years of professional backend development experience
3+ years of PHP development with proven production-level applications
Working experience with AWS services and cloud-based development
Python Experience: Knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend services
Ruby on Rails Experience: Knowledge of Ruby on Rails backend services
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend services
