About the role
- Voya is seeking a Senior Reinsurance Accountant to join the Reinsurance Finance team.
- The position is responsible for reinsurance administration, accounting, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and configure new agreements in the reinsurance system.
- Leverage strong technical expertise to proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements.
- Support other team members, including reviewing offshore work.
- Manage multiple, often competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in reinsurance analysis, financial reporting and accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working with admin systems and ledger data
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- GAAP and Statutory reporting knowledge
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to balance quantitative and qualitative analysis
