Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Network Engineer - Level 2 or 3 to join our team based in the Aurora, Colorado area at Buckley SFB.

The work involves installs, design, configurations, monitoring, and maintenance of network hardware and software to ensure network availability to system users.
You may work alongside other network support and client server specialists to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
You'll provide support to projects involving networks, by helping them connect to the network and troubleshooting issues they may have.
You will develop and implement methodologies for analysis, installation and support of the network.

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of Network Engineering experience
Master's degree with 0 years of Network Engineering experience
Associate's degree with 4 years of Network Engineering experience
or a HS diploma/GED with 6 years of Network Engineering experience
Network Engineering experience covering Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Cabling, and Hardware configuration/installation with CISCO and/or Juniper equipment
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Network Engineering experience
Master's degree with 3 years of Network Engineering experience
PhD and 0 years of Network engineering experience.
Associate's degree with 7 years of Network Engineering experience
or a HS diploma/GED with 9 years of Network Engineering experience

At least 6 years of Network Engineering experience covering Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Cabling, and Hardware configuration/installation with CISCO and/or Juniper equipment demonstrating a strong proficiency
Experience working with worldwide enterprise networks
Experience working with classified level enterprise networks
Ability to effectively write technical documentation
Experience sharing knowledge, mentoring, and working in a collaborative environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds (yet such is in-frequent)
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

$83,400.00 - $125,200.00
$103,600.00 - $155,400.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
