Responsibilities
- Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level careers in AWS DevOps Engineering.
- Work closely with the team to identify student needs, provide the necessary support, establish individualized plans for student achievement, and participate in regular student-status meetings.
- Maintain and update Salesforce and/or our LMS with student grades, certification scores, and progress notes.
- Support and maintain the training curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and other classroom materials.
- SDLC Automation: Hands-on expertise building and debugging CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
- Serverless & Event Automation: Skilled in developing AWS Lambda functions for event-driven remediation via Amazon EventBridge.

- The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, problem-solving individual with strong technical and instructional skills, demonstrates the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment, and maintains a strong sense of accountability.
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (DOP-C02) exam domains.
- Proficiency in provisioning multi-account environments using AWS CloudFormation, OpsWorks, and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Expert ability to configure and audit systems using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray.
- Ability to demonstrate the use of LLMs and Copilots for debugging code, generating IaC templates, and automating technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Python for constructing automated remediation scripts and managing AWS resources via SDKs (Boto3).
- Required Skill Sets
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in provisioning multi-account environments using AWS CloudFormation, OpsWorks, and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Security & Governance: Strong understanding of IAM policies, AWS Config, KMS, and Secrets Manager to enforce automated compliance.
- Advanced Scripting: Proficiency in Python for constructing automated remediation scripts and managing AWS resources via SDKs (Boto3).
- To succeed in this role, candidates must be business-minded within our mission focus and excel in instructional delivery that meets clients' and learners' high expectations.
Nice to have
- Active AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification is highly preferred.
- Preferred Skill Sets
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical/industry experience)
- Strong technical aptitude (Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, etc.), project management, and organizational skills with detailed follow-through abilities
- Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Solid understanding of business needs
- Strong evaluation and data management skills
- Prior knowledge or background in IT (if minimal, a desire and willingness to learn what's needed) and a passion for technology is a plus

Compensation
- For this role specifically, we are targeting an hourly range of $60.00 - $65.00 where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
- All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year ).
