About the role

  • We are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team.
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate accounts payable processing.
  • This is a Hybrid role requires working onsite at our Denver or Littleton, Colorado offices per an agreed upon schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Support weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire, and check disbursements.
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired companies and adoption of Company accounting policies
  • Support general ledger accounting practices in order to ensure timely and accurate accounting
  • Support the execution and documentation of internal controls in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of general accounting experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

  • Experience with accounts payable processes.
  • Exposure to multi-entity or subsidiary accounting environments.
  • NetSuite proficiency
  • Experience with the aerospace industry.

Compensation

  • The salary range represents the base salary range of $65,000-$75,000 for this position.
