About the role

  • The Senior Accountant is responsible for processing accounting transactions, compiling and analyzing financial reports, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and providing ad hoc analyses.
  • This position will have tremendous exposure to all aspects of the accounting cycle.
  • The position requires an individual who has a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
  • Organize and maintain accounting files and records
  • Perform monthly financial statement analytics
  • Team player and ability to collaborate with other departments

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Minimum 2-5 years accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Superior organization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Focus on managing time well and multi-task
  • Detailed oriented
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to adapt in an environment where change is a constant
  • Prior experience with NetSuite, Ramp, and Tipalti

  • Flo streams more than 50,000 live events annually across sports, including motorsports, wrestling, hockey, track & field, cheer, jiu-jitsu, NCAA Division II and III athletics, and more.
  • All-hands events hosted annually in beautiful Austin, Texas
