About the role

  • Performs advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and process utility systems to ensure high levels of operational reliability and performance.
  • This role independently leads the diagnosis and resolution of complex or non-routine equipment and utility failures, performs root cause analysis, and implements long-term corrective actions.
  • The technician provides technical leadership during maintenance activities, supports system optimization, and contributes to the development of maintenance strategies, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering, Construction, and Production teams to resolve complex system issues, support equipment modifications, and improve overall facility performance Provide technical input into system upgrades, installations, and commissioning activities Interface with cross-functional teams to support facility operations and projects Communicate equipment status, risks, and maintenance activities
  • Support implementation of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications Follow all safety regulations, including NFPA70E and PPE requirements Identify and report unsafe conditions, faulty operations, and non-conforming materials Maintain 6S standards and ensure a clean, organized work environment
