Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment
- Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building
- Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, exit signs, eye washing stations and other equipment
- Maintain communication and working relationships with all employees within the company
- Drive a vehicle to make repairs to facilities and equipment as well as operate a forklift
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- The use of safety glasses is required when working in production and lab areas as well as performing maintenance activities inside and outside the facility
- Additional protection may be required while performing construction activities or working with machinery and equipment
- The physical/mental demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- High school diploma/GED required
- Working knowledge of MS Office software including Outlook
- Frequently required to sit, talk, or hear as well as stand and walk
- Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)
Skills
- A flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain or snow
- Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment, their usage and safety procedures
- General skills include carpentry, plumbing maintenance, drywall repair and painting
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble modular office furniture/cubicles
- Ability to operate a snow blower, leaf blower, lawnmower and to use common hand and power tools
- Be visionary
Compensation
- The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
- Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
- $50,600.00-$67,500.000
