About the role
- The QA Technician is directly responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety policies, quality assurance practices, and rabbinical supervision standards for the Ogden bakery.
- You will add value by doing the following including but not limited to:
- Establish operating and capital budgets for sanitation and quality functions
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Quality Assurance and Sanitation programs to minimize risk from regulatory agencies
- Establish and manage raw material inspection procedures and analyze specifications to ensure consistent, unadulterated products
- Implement and oversee kosher certification systems to ensure ingredient compliance with rabbinical requirements
- Develop and maintain HACCP and SPC systems, including targeted quality check ranges
- Ensure compliance with food safety, food quality, and food defense standards; perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- 8 years' experience in food industry
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (word, excel, and power point)
