About the role
- The Colorado Conservation Fellowship, in partnership with Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) is a 2-year, full-time (35 hours per week) program, starting in September 2026.
- This program aims to foster an environment where people from a broad range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives feel welcomed and valued.

Requirements
- Ability to analyze information for the purpose of preparing reports, coordinating activities, and solving problems;
- Ability to pay close attention to project details while being outcome driven;
- Ability to apply research skills;
- Ability to write and edit written materials for use with program communications and special events;
- Experience, coursework, or other training in relevant field;
- Bachelor's degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination;
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English required;
- Understanding of and respect for Indigenous cultures, perspectives, and relationships;
- Genuine interest in exploring a career in the conservation field;
- Experience building strong and positive relationships with new partners, including Tribal and Indigenous communities, and/or customers;
- Database skills, including managing and tracking data, and producing reports;
- Excellent customer service skills and focus;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation
- T he pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $29-$30/hr.
- Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
- Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
