Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
- Design of repair/rehabilitation/restoration measures for existing structures and preparation of construction documents
- Design and details of structural components for adaptive re-use and modifications of existing building structures
- Our clients trust us to bring clarity and deliver outstanding solutions for their most complex projects.
- SGH provides services in Building Engineering, Infrastructure and Special Structures, and Construction Engineering.
- We implement innovative techniques for design, analysis, and project management.
- SGH laboratories support our design and investigation work with material, mechanical, and environmental testing.
- The Structural Engineer will be expected to conduct structural evaluations, repair design, design, and investigative projects; complete and review analysis and design calculations; execute and manage the preparation of drawings and specifications; manage project budgets and schedules; assist with mentoring of junior staff; interact with clients; and manage construction projects.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures.
- Professional Engineering License (SE) required
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Compensation
- The below range is a good faith estimate pursuant to applicable equal pay and pay transparency laws.
- The actual salary offered will be based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and work location.
- Base salary is a part of SGH's industry leading Total Compensation package.
- Our Total Compensation package includes base salary, pay for extra hours worked, an annual discretionary bonus program, generous paid time off, and health and wellness benefits with a special emphasis on substantial SGH contributions to medical insurance premiums and SGH's Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan.
- $93,600 - $120,120 USD
