Responsibilities

  • Contractor sets own working hours and methods, subject to reasonable responsiveness to clients and Seso colleagues.

Requirements

  • Seso provides access to required systems (Salesforce, Applied Epic / EZLynx) during the term.
  • Active P&C insurance broker license in good standing (contractor maintains license and continuing education independently)
  • 5+ years of P&C brokerage experience with strong command of workers compensation coverage, exposures, and markets
  • Active Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage
  • Engagement Terms
  • Classification: Independent contractor (1099). Not an employee
  • not eligible for Seso employee benefits, equity, PTO, or other employment-related considerations.
  • Compensation: Hourly, paid on an invoiced basis. Rate commensurate with experience.
  • Expected hours: Flexible, with scope and timing set by mutual agreement. Contractor is free to engage with other clients.

Nice to have

  • Process endorsement requests and ensure timely, accurate policy updates.
  • Process client requests for certificates of insurance, endorsements, and other policy-service inquiries.
  • Log activity in Seso's systems for accurate records.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core insurance principles and structures, with ability to explain them to clients
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic / EZLynx and Salesforce CRM
  • Spanish fluency a plus
  • Prior agriculture industry experience a plus

Compensation

  • Hourly, paid on an invoiced basis.
  • Rate commensurate with experience.
  • Term: Initial fixed-term engagement with option to renew based on mutual fit and ongoing business need.
  • Schedule and method: Contractor sets own working hours and methods, subject to reasonable responsiveness to clients and Seso colleagues.
  • Equipment: Contractor provides own workspace and equipment. Seso provides access to required systems (Salesforce, Applied Epic / EZLynx) during the term.
  • Taxes: Contractor is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Seso will issue a Form 1099-NEC annually.
