About the role

  • Additional duties include administratively tracking production tasks and assets in our ticketing system for proper documentation, along with configuration management and test reports.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to work on site in Northern Virginia with limited opportunities to work from home due to the hands-on nature of this position.

Requirements

  • Prefer experience manufacturing RF-based electronic systems.
  • In this role, you must maintain flexibility in mission expectations and requirements and be able to follow through on various tasks that are required to build, integrate, and test quality systems for delivery.
  • Must have a High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required Desired Skills/Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Although project requirements may dictate schedules, a Northstrat employee is only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and RF test equipment.
  • Functional knowledge of ground systems capable of transmitting and receiving RF emissions.
  • Technical certification or training in a related field.
  • Experience working with ground terminal equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends if necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in software loading, hardware, and network issues.

Compensation

  • There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
  • We also offer competitive compensation, benefits, and professional development opportunities.
  • The IBA can be used for such things as: IBA Benefits accrue each month in the amount equivalent to 50% of the employee's monthly compensation rate.
  • That is, the effective dollar amount of this accrual is in addition to an employee's salary.
  • Profit Sharing Plan (PSP) The PSP is a qualified retirement plan that Northstrat funds quarterly on the employee's behalf through the IBA in the amount equivalent to 25% (up to the IRS contribution limit) of the employee's compensation.
