About the role
- Position: Security Guard - Full time and Part time
- Competition Number: CNS 2026-07-02 Reports to: Site Supervisor Responsible For: Access control, guard house duties, patrols, report writing
Responsibilities
- Manage security and safety of personnel visits by maintenance staff and contractors
Requirements
- Must be able and physically capable to stand or sit for long periods and work in various weather conditions
- Although not required to apply, the following attributes are considered assets:
- Comfortable in use of computers in Microsoft suite
- Possess excellent customer and client service skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgement and decision making during emergency or high stress situations.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing situations.
- Highly professional and discreet
