About the role

  • May provide additional special services such as courseware review and other additional administrative duties such as publications, safety, quality audits, FCIF, scheduling.
  • The Instructor will ensure a safe and secure work environment is maintained.
  • CAE will provide training in the C-12U including Upset Prevention and Recovery Training certification by APS (Aviation Performance Solutions).

Requirements

  • Domestic and international travel as required.
  • Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top of or under machinery.
  • Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of simulators and its surrounding environment

  • Performs duties as Instructor Pilot, Classroom Instructor, and Simulator Instructor as required.
  • Assures compliance with applicable standards (i.e. AR 95-20, AR 95-1 and FAA Part 141 Formal School requirements).
  • Keeps current with changes and modifications to external standards.
  • Interfaces with appropriate members of the program, customer, and CAE USA staff to proactively identify and address quality assurance issues and ensure that all quality requirements are met.
  • Interfaces with various departments, management, and staff to identify and execute process improvement opportunities.
  • Conducts business in strict compliance with all corporate policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.

  • $20k-$95k
