About the role
- The Campus Marketing and Development team provides expert digital fundraising and marketing services to over 60 campus Hillels nationwide.
- We welcome applications from candidates across the U.S., with both fully remote options, as well as hybrid options available in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
Responsibilities
- Create digital fundraising campaigns across platforms (email, website, texting, social media)
- Generate and lead direct mail efforts from content creation through the mailing process.
- Offer web support as it pertains to fundraising
- Lead audience growth and acquisition efforts to build up parent, alumni, community member, and donor segments
- Build reports and/or segment audiences from CRM
- Provide top-notch customer service and partnership to multiple campus Hillels, serving as a strategic partner who can recommend and implement best practices
- Optimize campaigns at an advanced level using data-driven strategies, including segmentation, A/B testing, personalization, and audience targeting to maximize donor engagement and revenue.
- Write, design, and distribute mass-communications (email, direct mail, text) for fundraising and stewardship touchpoints.
- Great professional development, mentoring, and skill-building opportunities.
- The ability to lead and grow new initiatives from the ground up with support from senior management.
Requirements
- Experience with CRM/databases for donor management and reporting.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, My Emma, etc.)
Nice to have
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or fundraising in the non-profit space, a deep understanding of Hillel a plus.
Compensation
- Create an annual fundraising and marketing strategy that includes stewardship touchpoints, appeals, renewal messaging, and email newsletters.
- Provide in-depth analysis of campaign performance and leverage these findings for future campaigns in order to meet or exceed annual fundraising goals.
- Competitive salary in the nonprofit marketplace.
- The salary for this role is $60,000-$65,000.
