Responsibilities
- As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for reviewing files to gather current beneficiary information and other necessary documents needed to process the claim, and then process the claim according to system guidelines, contract language and state statutes.
- This will include reviewing policy contracts, Trusts, Power of Attorney documents, Wills, and various legal documents.
Requirements
- Do you have past life and annuity experience and a strong customer service mindset?
- What It Takes to Join Our Team: Previous claims experience required.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills are required to quickly learn our multiple systems.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of annuities and IRS tax law as they apply to the claims process is preferred.

- Previous life insurance and/or annuity experience preferred.

- Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
