Responsibilities
- The Temporary Train ing Coordinator oversees arrangements and logistics for the training of elections support staff, assisting with training operations for over 2,000 poll workers across many locations.
- Reporting to the Training Manager, the Temporary Training Coordinator maintains course information, prepares and distributes materials, and corresponds with participants regarding course completion.
- This employee also supports trainers as needed.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
Compensation
- Pay for this position is $23 hourly.
- This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek. This position requires the employee to be in the office/field or customer-facing for all hours worked.
- Temporary Election Workers who meet eligibility requirements can earn a $1,250 One-Time Retention Incentive.

- Two years of experience performing office, administrative, and/or clerical duties
- High school diploma or GED
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Must be a registered voter, or have the ability to become a registered voter, in the State of Arizona by the time of hire
- Must pass an applicable background screening
- Must be able to work irregular hours, overtime, and in shifts based on departmental needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures, such as managing files and records
- Experience in troubleshooting technical concerns
