Requirements
- Lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment in preparation for classes and labs may be required.
- Work may be required in an environment that varies from hot to cold (seasonal) which can be both noisy and dusty.
Skills
- Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Use of precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers in order to trim or drill parts.
- Ability to lay out articles, cut parts or materials to size and apply liquid or solid bonding agents.
- Performing structural bonding operations using film adhesives, core materials, and foaming adhesives.
- Verifying quality of finished product.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- And other duties as assigned.
