About the role
- Based on experience and qualifications, this position may be considered at a Senior Litigation Paralegal level.

Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement documents for attorney review
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case development and litigation strategy
- Track and manage litigation deadlines in accordance with Illinois civil procedure and local court rules
- Maintain accurate, well-organized case files within the firm's case management system
- Johnson Law Group is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our Chicago office in support of our Personal Injury Auto Accidents practice.
- This role involves managing litigation matters from intake through trial, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree
- Strong working knowledge of Illinois civil procedure and electronic filing systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

Compensation
- $29.00-$37.50 per hour
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime pay)
- For more than 20 years, the firm has represented individuals and families in personal injury, mass tort, workers' compensation, and complex litigation matters.
